Ali Khamenei Alive or Dead? Truth Behind the February 28 Attack | Iran War Theory 2026

Across the world, every newspaper, social media platform, and public discussion is focused on one question — Is Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei alive, or was he killed in the missile attack on 28 February 2026?
The United States and Israel claim that his office was attacked and that he was killed, but the facts seem to tell a different story.
Warning Before the Attack and the Leader’s Precaution
Ten days before the attack, the United States warned Iran: stop the nuclear program and missile-drone development or face serious consequences.
Iran did not respond, because it already knew an attack might happen.
If a criminal in a neighborhood gives a threat, why would anyone wait for the attack?
Under Ali Khamenei’s office and residence there are bunkers and underground tunnels. He would not simply sit there waiting.
Mossad CIA Power vs Russia China Support
Mossad killed Qasem Soleimani and Mohsen Fakhrizadeh in 2020, and in 2024 targeted Ismail Haniyeh. They even placed agents inside the IRGC.
But Iran also receives support from Russia’s SVR and China’s MSS — two of the world’s top intelligence services.
SVR likely knew that Mossad and the CIA might carry out a joint operation.
Following routine security procedures, they may have moved him through underground tunnels before the attack.
The strike happened above ground and some people were killed.
Early Statements but No Evidence
Donald Trump quickly claimed that Khamenei was killed. Benjamin Netanyahu repeated the statement.
Iran also announced a 40-day mourning period.
But when Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden, or Mussolini were killed, their bodies were shown to the world.
Even 12 days after the attack, why has no photo or proof appeared?
Between 2000 and 2006, news of Khamenei’s death surfaced six different times, and every time he later appeared alive.
Iran’s Drones Cheap Weapons, Expensive Damage
Iran’s Shahed-136 drones cost around 3–3.2 million rupees to produce.
But the US anti-missile systems used to intercept them cost 20–50 million rupees.
In just seven days, Israel reportedly spent 3.1 billion dollars defending against these attacks.
Iran also warned Dubai, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Lebanon not to give military space to the United States.
Proxy groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, and PMF act as Iran’s extended military arms.
If the war is still ongoing, then the big question remains — who is making the strategic decisions inside Iran?
America’s Real Objective Control of the Middle East
The United States aims to maintain balance among Israel, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and Turkey in the Middle East.
During the 1979 Iranian Revolution, the CIA was also involved in regional political dynamics.
Donald Trump has spoken about the “correct use” of nuclear power, but critics argue that Hiroshima itself was effectively a test.
Many analysts believe global powers create fear and instability in order to sell weapons.
If countries like Britain and Germany directly enter the conflict, it could escalate into World War III.
For now, the conflict continues mainly as a proxy war.
Russia and China’s Interests
If Iran remains strong and independent, the United States cannot fully control the region.
China has been buying Iranian oil at low prices for over 25 years.
Russia is already dealing with proxy conflicts such as the Ukraine war.
If Khamenei is alive, Iran will likely continue aligning with Russia and China.
According to this theory, SVR and MSS may have planned the evacuation and moved him before the attack happened.
